Tip Toeing in My Jordans Original Video and Timeline
Find the tip toeing in my Jordans original video: the August 27, 2026 AI clip, how it differs from the meme, and a dated timeline from Riff Raff to the NFL.
Tip Toeing in My Jordans
Most versions of the meme you see today are edits of edits: new captions, new faces, a green screen imp in someone's kitchen. If you want the tip toeing in my Jordans original video, the real first clip, it helps to know that the meme is made of two separate originals: an AI video from August 2026 and a Riff Raff song from 2014. They only met in late September 2026.
This page covers where the original video came from, what happens in it, how it differs from the meme version, and a dated timeline of how it spread.
Where the tip toeing in my Jordans original video came from
The original video is an AI-generated clip first posted on Instagram on August 27, 2026. According to Know Your Meme, it was posted together by the Instagram pages Stroinaya, Neuroferma and Anna Glinskaya. The post Know Your Meme embeds is credited to Tatyana Tereshchenko (Stroinaya), and NBC's stations also credit Tereshchenko, a self-described AI artist and filmmaker.
It was made to look like a scene from a 1980s fantasy film. No actors and no set were involved. Know Your Meme confirms it is AI.
What happens in the original video
Know Your Meme describes the scene this way: a short character representing Rumpelstiltskin dances for a woman in a barn and turns straw into gold. She then kisses him, and he turns into a prince.
So the original tells a whole little story, with a fairy-tale ending that many meme edits leave out. Those edits tend to keep the creepy part: the creep-in, the shush, the grin and the tip toe dance.
Does the original video have the Riff Raff song?
No. The song was added later. The track is "Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz" by Riff Raff, released as a single on June 10, 2014, from his album Neon Icon. A TikTok user paired the two on September 29, 2026, and that pairing is what people now call the tip toeing in my Jordans meme.
The song's own story, including why it is spelled "Jawwdinz", is in the Riff Raff song explained.
How to find the original clip
Searching "tip toeing in my Jordans original" mostly returns reposts. A few tips:
- Start at Know Your Meme. Its entry embeds the original Instagram post, credited to Tatyana Tereshchenko (Stroinaya, @stroinaya).
- Look for the full story. The original goes on to the gold, the kiss and the prince. A clip that stops at the dance is usually a meme edit.
- Check the sound. If you hear Riff Raff, it is not the original upload.
- Be wary of "1987 movie" uploads. Clips titled as an old Rumpelstiltskin film are reposts of the AI video. The dance is not in the 1987 film; see Rumpelstiltskin 1987.

Original video vs the meme version
| What | The original (Aug 2026) | The meme version (from Sep 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Where it first ran | TikTok, then X, Reels and Shorts | |
| Sound | Not the Riff Raff song | "Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz" |
| Story | Full story, through the kiss and prince | Often cut to the creep-in, shush and dance |
| Who dances | The AI imp | The imp, or anyone swapped in |
The swaps are the reason the meme lasted. Once people could put a friend, a streamer or a dog in the imp's place, the original became a template. You can see what that looks like in our tip toeing in my Jordans meme examples.
