Upload one photo and the Rumpelstiltskin AI video generator makes it tip toe through straw.
Every clip here is made by AI. None of it is footage from the 1987 Rumpelstiltskin film.
How to use the Rumpelstiltskin AI video generator
Four steps, one or two photos, twelve seconds of dancing. Most renders finish within a few minutes.
1. Upload a photo of the dancer
Pick a photo with one clear subject and a visible face. That person plays the little dancer in the velvet tailcoat and keeps their own face, hair and age.
2. Add the person in the straw (optional)
A second photo recasts the young woman sitting in the straw, so that person gasps while your dancer tip toes toward them. Skip it and the original woman stays in the scene.
3. Pick quality and framing, then render
Choose 768P or 2K, and vertical 9:16 for TikTok or horizontal 16:9. The AI video model renders a 12-second clip. If a render fails, the credits come back.
4. Add the Riff Raff sound in TikTok and post
The clip is silent. Open it in TikTok, Instagram or CapCut, pick RiFF RAFF’s “Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz” from the app’s music library, and post. The track then plays under the app’s own music license instead of being baked into your file.
What happens in the Rumpelstiltskin AI clip
Every render follows the same choreography, shot for shot. Only the cast changes: your photos replace the dancer and, if you add one, the woman in the straw.
A candlelit barn full of straw
Warm candlelight, piles of straw and the grain of a 1980s fantasy film, with the same camera angles and the same cuts as the original clip.
The shush and the grin
Your dancer, dressed in a black crushed-velvet tailcoat and bow tie, raises one finger to the lips, then flashes a wide toothy grin.
The tip toe across the straw
Arms spread wide and swaying side to side, the dancer tip toes across the straw toward the woman sitting in it.
The gasp in the straw
Close-ups of the person in the straw gasping with a hand over the mouth, eyes wide and teary. With a second photo, that is your second person.
The slipper close-up
The last shots stay on the dancer’s grin and on pointed black slippers tip toeing through the straw.
Vertical or horizontal
The original is 16:9. Pick 9:16 and every shot is reframed for a phone, with the dancer centred and the whole body in frame in the wide shots.
It is the same template as the tip toeing in my Jordans meme generator on our homepage.
What the Rumpelstiltskin AI video generator gives you
One render gives you one finished clip. These are its exact specs.
A 12-second clip, vertical or wide
Every clip runs 12 seconds. Pick 9:16 to fill a phone screen in TikTok, Reels and Shorts, or 16:9 to keep the original wide framing.
768P or 2K
768P is the standard size for the feed. A 2K clip uses one and a half times the credits and is worth it when you plan to crop, zoom or show the clip on a big screen.
Silent on purpose
We don’t add the song and we don’t distribute it. The file is video only, so you add the track inside the app you post to.
The choreography people know
The motion, the cuts and the camera follow the template clip shot for shot, so your version lines up with the trend your followers have already seen.
Is the Rumpelstiltskin AI clip from the 1987 movie?
No. The clip people call the Rumpelstiltskin AI video was made with AI. It is not a scene from any film, and the videos you make here are AI-generated too.
Where the clip came from
A short AI clip of a small imp in a velvet tailcoat, tip toeing toward a crying woman in a pile of straw, appeared on Instagram in late August 2026 with no music. From late September it was paired with RiFF RAFF’s 2014 track “Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz” from the album Neon Icon, and it spread on TikTok as the tip toeing in my Jordans meme.
What the 1987 Rumpelstiltskin film actually is
Rumpelstiltskin (1987) is a Cannon Movie Tales musical starring Amy Irving, with Billy Barty as Rumpelstiltskin. The grainy, old-film look of the AI clip sent many viewers looking for it there, but the dance is not in that film. It is not the Shrek Rumpelstiltskin either, and the song is not Jason Derulo’s “Tip Toe”.
Why the name stuck
In the Brothers Grimm tale, Rumpelstiltskin is the little man who spins straw into gold for the miller’s daughter. An imp creeping through straw toward a weeping young woman reads as that story at a glance, so people named the clip after him.
Label your video as AI
Your clip is generated, not found footage. Say so when you post, and only use photos of people who have agreed to it.

Tips for a better Rumpelstiltskin AI video
Use a clear, front-facing photo
Face visible, decent light, nothing covering it. The model keeps the face, hairstyle, hair colour, skin tone and age from your photo, so a clearer face gives a closer likeness.
Render again for another take
Each render is a new take of the same scene. If a face comes out wrong, try a sharper photo and render again; earlier takes stay in your library.
Pick the framing for where you post
9:16 fills the screen in TikTok, Reels and Shorts. 16:9 keeps the original wide framing for YouTube or X.
Line the hook up with a step
In TikTok or CapCut, slide the track until the “tip toe” hook lands while the dancer is mid-step.
Rumpelstiltskin AI video generator FAQ
Is the Rumpelstiltskin AI video generator free?
No. Rendering a clip uses credits from a one-time pack, starting at $8.99 for one 768P video. There is no subscription, and failed renders are refunded.
Is this the Rumpelstiltskin dance from the 1987 movie?
No. The viral clip was made with AI and first posted on Instagram in August 2026. It is not in the 1987 Rumpelstiltskin film, and the clips made here are AI-generated as well.
Does the video come with the Riff Raff song?
No. Clips are silent. Add “Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz” from the music library in TikTok, Instagram or CapCut before you post.
How long does a Rumpelstiltskin AI video take?
Usually a few minutes. The clip is 12 seconds long, in 9:16 or 16:9, and you can download it when it is done.
Can I use a photo of my friend or my dad?
Yes, if you have the right to use the photo and the person has agreed. Use one photo for the dancer and, if you like, a second for the person in the straw. Don’t make clips of people without their consent, and don’t pass a generated clip off as real footage.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Your account holds your clips, your takes and your credit balance. Sign in with Google or email.
Is this site connected to Riff Raff, Shrek or the 1987 film?
No. It is an independent fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with RiFF RAFF, the Shrek films, the 1987 film, or the creators of the original AI clip.
Can I change the scene or the dance?
Not on this template. The barn, the costume, the choreography and the cuts are fixed so every clip matches the meme. You choose the photos, the quality and the framing.
